Fri.-Sun., Apr. 5th-7th Disciple Now 2019 
Disciple Now is an amazing weekend event for students in grades 6-12. It will feature a guest speaker, guest worship leader, breakout sessions, live action Clue, service projects, 4th meals, and more. The Disciple Now 2019 theme is “For Good.” We’ll be taking a look at the book of Titus and exploring all of the ways the Gospel is for good. Registration is required by March 24. Job Opening:
We are creating a new part-time position here at Advent Arlington Presbyterian Church to work with our financial operations. Soon we will begin to handle the majority of our finances here at our Arlington campus, continuing to work with the Cordova finance department. The Arlington Campus Accounts Receivable/Payable Coordinator supports Advent Arlington’s mission by ensuring accurate and timely receiving, recording, disbursement, and reporting of our finances. This person will serve as the point person for all Arlington finances to include congregational giving, preschool tuition payments, paying bills, preparing donor receipts, budgeting, data entry, and financial reporting at the Arlington campus. It is a part-time position (6-12 hours/week). The full job description can be found on AdventArlington.com. Operation Christmas Child:
It’s time to fill a shoe box! Operation Christmas Child is now collecting gifts that get sent to kids all over the world. We have brochures that explain the procedure and boxes to fill. You can also use a regular shoe box or plastic shoe box. And to make it really easy, you can go to samaritanspurse.org and shop online to complete an order. Contact Janet Quillin at 901-550-6262 for more information. She will be collecting the shoe boxes November 12-18 or you can deliver them to Highland Heights Presbyterian Church.
