Advent Preschool and Parent's Day Out
The Parent's Day Out and Preschool Program is a part of the outreach mission of Advent Presbyterian Church and seeks to minister to the families of our community by providing quality care for children of all racial, religious, and ethnic origins. Believing that children learn best as they engage in age-appropriate activities with their peers in a happy, safe, and stimulating environment, it is our purpose to provide a program which is educationally sound, developmentally based, and staffed by caring, qualified Christian adults. Our program operates under the supervision of the Advent Preschool/Parent's Day Out Board of Directors.
Advent's Preschool and Parent's Day Out operates September through May and follows the Shelby County schools closings. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 2:30.
PDO, Monday through Thursday, is for children fifteen months through three years of age. Toddlers and Twos may choose one or two days, Threes may come up to four days.
Our Preschool is a kindergarten readiness program. Four year olds may enroll for a two, three, or five day program.
