Our Mission
Provide training and materials to empower churches and other organizations to bring clean water to people where water supplies are polluted.
Our Niche
Working together with partners to clean existing water sources using simple, sustainable and affordable technology, for communities of up to 500 people.
System Facts
Method: microfiltration and ozonation, and where necessary, softening and reverse osmosis.
Capacity: standard system, about 300 gallons in 75 minutes.
Components: ozonator, filters and microfilters, pump,gauges, meter, and bottle washer; softener and reverse osmosis where indicated.
Cost
Standard Hardware: $2800.
Softener & R/O: $4600.
Building: $2,000-3,000.
Operational Cost: 1¢ per gallon.
Education Facts
Purpose: teaching local leaders, who in turn teach community members how to best use clean water.
Emphasis: health/hygiene and spirituality of health.
Structure: modular curriculum, with hands-on,interactive activities for all ages.
Mission Approach
Relational: A three-year partnership agreement between U.S.-based church or organization and an international organization (e.g., church, school, clinic, orphanage, or seminary.)
1st trip: survey and partnership development.
2nd trip: installation and education.
3rd & 4th trips: follow-up and troubleshooting.
