Rapid Water
A day came when our Savior Jesus went as our high priest, right into the rapids, into death. He did not have to carry the ark, because He was THE ark. He was the presence of God in flesh. And then on Easter Sunday he came out the other side. He stood in the gap, carrying the weight of the entire world on his shoulders, so the waters would not drown us. He chose to mark that day forever, because the Risen Lord kept the nail marks and the open wound on his side. He did that for love. Of you. So, let's step up and into wherever God takes all of us next.

    Floating
Instead of coming to faith expecting life to be stationary, we learn how to float. So take a deep breath, lean back, hold out your arms, and let God do the rest.

    Jump
This is the season of summer, but it is also a season to be courageous in our faith...ready to leap. Looking over the edge can be frightening, but we can trust that the one whose arms are wide open will catch us.

    Carrying
If we trust that there is power and creativity behind the gifting and if we let the boss, our Lord, instruct us on our use of those gifts, our gifts CAN BE life giving because He is the God who could bring life to the dry bones of Israel and He can make your offering, your heartwork, fill others with new life.

    Grace Names Us
There is something about what we are called that tends to point to what we are called to. Jesus seeks to name us because when we are named we find our story; our destiny

    Grace Extends to All
Be careful that you don't walk away rom the grace of God because you cannot handle how generous He is.

"Or are you envious because I am generous?" (Matthew 20:15)

    Speaking in Other Languages

Will we, the church, continue to learn new languages?

the language of apology | the language of inclusion | the language of forgiveness | the language of humanity | the language of patience | the language of goodness | the language of presence

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

    The Event of Resurrection

A Christianity that promises absolute comfort, unexamined certainty, and elitist ans smug behavior doesn't fit nicely within our gospel accounts.

Jesus resurrection re-imagines our expectations for the faith. He is now God "on the loose" - he cannot be tamed or predicted.

Chaosmos (Chaos - pulled apart, Chosmos - put together)
We are transformed when we are pulled apart and put together at the same time.
