First Steps

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. Here are a few things that will make your first, second, and every visit a little more comfortable.

First Time and Returning Guests

Whether this is your first time worshiping with us or you have been attending for a while, we would like to know more about you and how we can help you feel more at home here at Advent.

Please take a moment to provide some basic information with this form or the Connect Card at the Welcome Desk.

Come As You Are

We are a welcoming church and there is no need to dress up on Sunday unless it makes you feel more comfortable.

Advent Kids

Infants and toddlers are welcome in our nursery where our attendants will help them settle in.

Preschool, Kindergarten and grade school aged children have several opportunities to learn about God and worship as part of the church. Check your child into Sunday School to learn more about God and the Bible and to grow in Christ. Children are welcome in worship with their parents and we also have age appropriate messages and worship opportunities just for kids.
