Deut 30:15-20, James 4:4-10 I often think of submission in terms of defeat or worse… losing my freedom. But, submitting to God’s will - making God “Lord of my life” opens the door to true freedom and fulfillment. Old church language often sounds outdated or almost offensive in our current culture. In this series, we’ll explore each word and why it doesn’t seem relevant or comfortable. Then we will look at the theological concept that each word represents. Finally, we will do our best to redeem the word - looking at it in a new light and seeing its relevance and importance.
