Lazarus, Mary, Martha
There is no mention of spouses or children in the story Lazarus, Mary or Martha, even though this was the highest value of the culture around them at the time. We also see that they do not always see things the same way (Martha even complains to Jesus about Mary). Yet they created a family with loving relationships and hospitality that was even generous enough to invite Jesus into it.
